Good questions
The ones that come up most
How much does garage door repair cost?
The total depends on the failed part, the door's size, and whether related hardware is worn. We inspect the door and explain the repair before work begins.
How do I know whether a garage door spring is broken?
A broken spring can leave a visible gap in the coil, make the door feel unusually heavy, or keep the opener from lifting it. Do not force the door or try to handle the spring yourself.
Can you repair garage door openers?
Yes. We troubleshoot the opener, power, controls, safety sensors, remotes, keypads, and the door itself before recommending repair or replacement.
Do you install new garage doors?
Yes. We install residential and commercial doors for replacements, remodels, and new construction.
Do you work on commercial garage doors?
Yes. Commercial work is part of the business, including sectional doors, rolling doors, loading dock doors, operators, installation, and repair.
What areas do you serve?
We serve customers across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, with additional work elsewhere in Southern New England discussed by phone.
Should I repair or replace an older garage door?
A sound door with one failed part is often repairable. Replacement can make more sense when panels, tracks, hardware, or several major parts are worn or damaged.
Can I use the opener when a spring or cable is broken?
No. The opener is not designed to lift the full weight of a door with failed counterbalance hardware. Stop using it and keep people clear until the door is inspected.
Still not sure?
Call and describe what the door is doing, or send a note with the best number to reach you.
